What is Online Therapy?
We are now offering therapy sessions through video conferencing using a secure encrypted HIPPA compliant system to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
How to prepare for a video therapy session?
If you are a new client, you will be asked to complete some intake forms prior to your session. These will be emailed to you through a secure program.
For existing clients, we will send you a consent form for video conferencing which we will ask you to sign prior to your first video conference session.
Make sure you have a quiet and private place for the session where you will not be disturbed for the 50-minute duration. Make yourself comfortable in your own personal space while you connect with your therapist.
How does it work?
The technology is easy to use. No need to download anything or create an account. We will send you an email link the day of your appointment. Please copy the link into your browser, enable your browser to use your camera and microphone, type in your name and click check-in. Supported browsers include: Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
Using a wired internet connection will ensure the best quality video and sound.
How do I pay for my session?
The easiest way to make payment is through e-transfer, however we also accept credit card payments which we can process at the end of your video call. A receipt will be emailed to you at the end of your session.
